New 2019 Subaru Legacy for Sale near Omaha, NE

2018 Subaru Legacy
Subaru knows that in order to stay competitive, cars need to keep changing. There is no room for complacency in the auto market; if a car isn't regularly updated, no matter how beloved it might currently be, it will one day fall by the wayside. That's why the 2019 Subaru Legacy has undergone a redesign. Although the Subaru Legacy was already a capable model, Subaru added some changes to make it even better. At Beardmore Subaru, we were already fans of the old design, and we like the new one even more.

The first thing you notice about the 2019 Subaru Legacy is the new look. The front end boasts a wider grille, a lower air intake, and revised headlights, giving the whole thing a sportier look. The new headlights aren't just for show either; they're more responsive, and they turn with the steering wheel. On the other side, the tailpipe now smoothly fits into the bumper.

More About the New 2018 Subaru Legacy Models at Our Bellevue Dealership

Inside, the changes are more robust. One thing you won't notice in the 2018 Subaru Legacy is noise. Subaru redid their midsize sedan to be even quieter. Tweaks to the engine software and transmission help cut down a few decibels, as do the new side mirrors and added acoustic windshield. Even the steering wheel has been adjusted to give a sportier drive. Driving a Subaru Legacy has never been more enjoyable.

Subaru has updated the infotainment system on the 2018 Subaru Legacy. The standard screen size has been increased to 6.5 inches. There is also an 8-inch screen with a faster processor. The 8-inch touchscreen comes with a navigation system, and three years of free map updates. The 2018 Subaru Legacy boasts the latest version of Subaru Starlink, Subaru's infotainment system. New to the 2018 Subaru Legacy are standard Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, for increased smartphone connectivity. Previously, the only Subaru model with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay was the 2017 Subaru Impreza. Hand-free infotainment control has been made easier with two included microphones and improved voice recognition technology. Charging shouldn't be an issue with the two USB ports. In your 2018 Subaru Legacy, it is easier than ever to listen to your favorite music or podcasts, or make hands-free calls on the go.

The engine of the 2018 Subaru Legacy is the same as in its predecessor. The standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder gives 175 horsepower, and 174 pound-feet of torque, and the available 3.6-liter six-cylinder engine gives 256 horsepower and 247 pound-feet of torque. Of course, it's still a Subaru, so it has all-wheel drive and a continuously variable transmission. Subaru knows that change is important, but they also know not to mess too much with a good thing.

Subaru vehicles are already known for being some of the safest on the market. They continue to step up their game in the 2018 Subaru Legacy, which has even more added safety features. Newer features include predictive guidelines on the standard rearview camera, making reversing easier and safer than ever. In addition to that, each tire on the 2018 Subaru Legacy now has an air-pressure monitor.
